Senior Lecturer (Associate Prof) of Imaging Sciences (MSK) at King's College London

Dr. Bielecki is a academic diagnostic radiologist with over 25 years experience in bone and joint radiology. His strengths include teaching radiology and high volume plain film interpretation with a strong interest in bone diseases, particularly inflammatory and non inflammatory diseases of the joints and spine, chest and abdomen. He uses structured VR reporting to streamline the process. His interests include inflammatory and non-inflammatory arthridites, crystal deposition diseases, and the sero-negative spondyloarthropathies. He is an experienced educator of medical students, residents, registrars and fellows. He presents lectures and case conferences weekly, and mentors first year trainees.

Currently, he is Senior MSK Specialist Radiologist, at King's College Hospital, a 1300-bed tertiary care academic and research hospital directly affiliated with Guy's St Thomas Hospital. He also is Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Imaging Sciences at King's College, London. He is also a member of the Arthritis Subcommittee of the European Skeletal Society (ESSR), member of the Polish Medical Radiology Society, and Editor-in-Chief of Radiology Online Journal

He is responsible for conventional radiology reporting and training registrars and radiographers in these techniques, using "at the monitor" training, providing suggested reading, conference case presentation and discussion, and formal lectures covering the depth and breadth of basic MSK radiology. He also is involved in mentoring medical students who want to become radiologists.

Dr. Bielecki loves to teach MSK radiology and anatomy and has or can develop conference or seminar presentations on any major osseous disease process. He has given over 200 various lectures in his career.

As part of his training, he was a research fellow at UCSD working under the tutelage of Donald Resnick, and as a research fellow was involved in the publication of 6 peer-reviewed research papers. In total, he has published over 35 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
