I am a newly qualified doctor and aspiring academic surgeon with interests in urology and transplant. I currently work as a Foundation Year 1 doctor as part of a prestigious two year Academic Foundation Programme post conducting research in transplant surgery at the University of Cambridge.
I attend King's College School Wimbledon where I attained 12/12 A* at GCSE followed by 44 in the IB, and was able to gain a place at medical school on my first attempt. I spent 6 years at King's College London, including an intercalated year where I attained First Class Honours in my BSc studying anatomy, developmental, and human biology. Recently I graduated from my medical programme with triple distinction, whilst receiving an offer from my top choice foundation job in academic surgery in Cambridge. I have published numerous papers on surgery, medical education and public health in high impact-factor journals and presented my work at both national and international conferences. I also have an interest in medical education, and worked for two years helping medical applicants prepare for their interviews.
