I am looking for students interested in medical innovations, particularly material science, who have an interest in Ophthalmology. Additionally, I would like students who are committed, motivated and interested in medical research.

The aim is to conduct a literature review on nano-medicine as a treatment for Wet AMD. This review will be looking at in vitro, in vivo and clinical trials that have been conducted giving students an understanding of the bench to bedside journey treatments follow. 

The plan:
1. Update the search strategy, the question may become broader or narrower.
2. Create an inclusion and exclusion criteria.
3. Create a proposal for several journals.
4. Review the literature.
5. Write up the work.
6. Submit to journals and conferences.

All students that get involved will be recognised as co-authors as long as they contribute and remain committed. 

Regarding publication:
The plan is to have a proposal ready by the end of July and a paper submitted once approval has been given.
