Support for publishing a Cardiology-related literature review.
Ideally the student will have attained a BSc in a Cardiology-related subject.
We can either decide on a literature review topic based on a student's area of interest or work on improving and finalising a highly-marked literature review from an 'In Course Assessment' written previously.
Publication will be submitted to journals that provide a Pubmed ID.
Viewpoint publication in Medical Teacher journal.

Review - Update on the role of exosomes in cardiac repair after myocardial infarction
Review article for submission to Cardiovascular Research journal (Impact factor = 7.014).
The review will focus on the role that exosomes have in the native repair process following cardiac injury and the current efforts to utilise exogenous exosomes to promote and modulate the remodelling process.
Requires critical analysis of prominent studies of original research and key review papers.
